rear projection Panasonic HDTV show red spot?

I have a Panasonic PT-52LCX65 rear projection HDTV for almost 3 years, of course, it is out of warranty . Few weeks ago, a pale red spot appeared in the middle left side. It is not visible on dark images but noticeable on faces or light background. Anyone faced this or have an idea of what that could be ?

might be an off or dead pixel. good luck with that… usually costs more than buyin a new tv to fix it
